We stopped in here on a brutally hot day to escape the sun. Very friendly staff, comfortable spaces, delicious salads and a simple focaccia appetizer that really hit the spot. What a nice, neighborhood place. Thanks for the refuge!

Hit on everything they said it would. Went there for brunch menu and their burgers and salads were excellent. Right price and not too expensive. Food was excellent for the price. Wait staff and bus service was outstanding, and even some star dust with celebrities in the mix. May have to make a regular haunt.

The ideal place to eat in your 'hood and to enjoy a special dinner without getting too dressed up. The menu is far more diverse than just a burger and salads, ensuring that there is something for everyone, regardless of the reason for a visit. We were not too hungry, so we ordered several appetizers and were impressed. The focaccia bread had a great texture and the taste was yummy. The chips and guac were seasoned well, making for a flavorful, crisp bite. Without a doubt, the highlight of the meal was the hummus -- a stand-out version of a dish you must have tasted zillions of times in your life with a seasoning that outshone its regular counterparts. The fries were exactly perfectly crisp and the fava bean salad came with a great light dressing that sang in harmony with absolutely everything. The service was efficient and fast, with friendly and inviting servers and hosts making us feel right at home. The atmosphere was charming and relaxing, with a cozy yet spacious layout that avoided the cramped feeling of many NYC eateries. Overall, Harvest Kitchen is a fantastic place for any dining occasion. The Summer '24 gazpacho special is world class. Topped with shrimp on crusted bread slice adds to the taste and presentation. Truly the consummate summer appetizer.

Three of us enjoyed a lovely lunch on a recent Saturday afternoon. We split the Brussel sprout appetizer and individually enjoyed a burger with guacamole and onions toppings; Greek salad ; beet salad with tofu. All three entrees were very fresh and our burger eater proclaimed it the "best burger he ever had." The shared appetizer was simply delicious. The Brussel sprout resister stated it made him rethink his stance. Finally the service was so good and we were not rushed at all. The space was relaxing and not packed too tightly. We sat in the enclosed patio but the inside also looked very inviting. They also had two small individual bathrooms that (hooray) did not have any gender identifications.

Randomly found this spot along this busy street as we were looking for a cozy dinner outside (with heat lamps). This place fits the bill with a solid enclosure out front and plenty of seating as well. Started off with the Guacamole ($13) - chunky and not overly citrus or salty. Served alongside some thick cut tortilla chips. For the main course, ordered the Brick Chicken ($26) - lemon and thyme braised, with sides of corn/zucchini succotash and a gnocchi square. Chicken was made perfectly, not lime forward but marinated well. The gnocchi square was a first and tasted amazing, like a softer cornbread. Succotash is a nice respite in between. Service was great, as they came by often despite being the only table outside. Would want to come back for lunch as well.

After a few hours at American Museum of Natural History, we getting a little hungry and we are glad we did. Plenty of tables and seats with an outdoor closed heated patio with a lively atmosphere. 4.75 Stars - Our server was pleasant, friendly and knowledgeable with the menu choices. Food: 4.5 Stars We chose the wrapped bacon dates, a classic burger and a bacon cheeseburger w fries. 4 Stars - The wrapped bacon dates were good, sweet and salty. It had an almond inside the date for a crunchy texture. An aioli sauce was sprinkled on the bacon dates which was topped on some fresh salad fixings. Though is tasted good, it was a little bit too sweet for our palate. 4 Stars- The classic burger and bacon cheeseburger was topped with lettuce, tomato, pickles, guacamole, and grilled onions. Burgers were juicy and moist, but the show was grilled onions. Sauté perfectly and has nice sweet flavor to them. 5 Stars - The Fries were the bomb! Double-fried in the cooler to get the balance crunchy texture and was seasoned with just enough sea salt. We could have eaten a platter of fries by itself. Definitely recommend the place. When busy, it will be loud so come early for lunch or dinner.

A classic, cozy neighborhood restaurant. I was visiting NYC and looking for a nice lunch near Central Park. Harvest Kitchen really outdid my expectations. It was prime lunch time on a Saturday with beautiful weather, and I expected a long wait for anything near Central Park (because tourists like me, right?). Nope! 10 minutes wait. The manager, Igor, was so friendly (particularly to elderly customers, it was so cute). Many were clearly locals who knew him by name, one was permitted to skip those waiting as a regular who was "like family." It was sweet to see places like that still exist. Furthermore, the food was really good! The Greek salad was very well balanced with all the ingredients. I opted to add the salmon, which was a generous serving cooked properly. I also tried (ate half of) my fiance's fries and OMG. Very good fries. Perfect crispiness, and I Love fries. The burger was amazing also, which is crazy for me to say because I historically don't even like burgers much because the beef is usually just bland to me - here however, you can really tell that they are made in house with brisket. It wasn't heavily seasoned or anything, but just really good quality burger meat. I wasn't hungry enough to try any appetizers sadly but the bacon wrapped dates and the guac looked stunning

This review is for the 4-course Thanksgiving dinner. First course: salad for everyone; It was fresh and well seasoned. second course: I had the fried calamari; the batter was thick and less flaky than I would have liked; my family had the bacon wrapped dates and they liked it. Third course: I had the salmon and sautéed veggies; salmon was cooked perfectly and the veggies were good. My family had the turkey and they said it was too dry and the gravy was thin. This was the second year we have had Thanksgiving dinner here. The turkey was better last year. Fourth course: my family enjoyed the apple pie and pecan pie . I liked my berries with whipped cream. The service is very consistent here. They accommodate special dietary requests without problems. The manager/maître d' is always very friendly. The space is pleasant and comfortable.
